Monthly meeting for September is Tonight at 6:30 pm

I forgot to send out the notice — sorry.

The monthly meeting for September is tonight, Wednesday, September 12, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, at the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library, located at 1108 Sherman Ave., at the corner of Sherman Ave. and E. 1st Ave. (map below)


 

The 2012 2nd Annual Shortz Film Fest was a great success.
 
Thank you to everyone who showed up and supported the fest and The Arts in Chico. Good job everyone who worked on the fest. (all unpaid volunteers) There were some really good films this year, overall perhaps better than last year. Congratulations to the winners. (listed below)

CiAO meetings are now held once a month, usually near the middle of the month, on varying days of the week to give everyone a chance to attend when they can, a maximum of two hours in length, sometime between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. The meeting location is the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library, located at 1108 Sherman Ave., at the corner of Sherman Ave. and E. 1st Ave. See map (click to see larger version).

The Consortium is a varied group of people interested in independent film and other related areas. Including all areas of indie film production, film in general, other productions of various kinds, multimedia, watching and appreciation. There tends to be an emphasis on indie films and filmmaking, particularly nano-budget, micro-budget, and small-budget filmmaking.
