Attend the Premiere of "Fly"

Saturday, January 21 — 3:00 pm — Pageant Theatre

In lieu of a January meeting, let's all attend the premiere of "Fly".

Local independent filmmaker, Writer/Director Shawn Dyer, announces the premiere of his latest short indie film, "Fly". The film will show on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Pageant Theatre. Running time for "Fly" is 25 minutes. Tickets are $5.00 at the door.

"Fly" is a romantic comedy about a man who one day decides he can fly. Along his journey, he meets a woman who believes she can breathe under water. The film was shot locally in the Chico area in mid-2011 and produced by Chris Madrigal and James Smith.

Opening for "Fly" will be two local short films, "Ralphie" and "Ralphie II", (2010 & 2011) directed by James Smith and written by Shawn Dyer. Full event running time is approx. 1 hour.

The holiday season is both a good and not-so-good time to request donations. We informed you about Shawn Dyer and Heidi Moore's latest project last month, the feature-length film "Wurms", and their request for donations via indiegogo. Unfortunately, the response was... bleak. If you can, they can use your support.
