CiAO Film Premiere and Monthly Meeting for October

Monday the 4th •  The Chosen — A Team CiAO Film

Note that the meeting will start at 7:00 pm. (instead of 6:00)

We will be premiering our latest (zombie) short film, The Chosen, newly completed in the last couple of weeks, at this Monday's meeting. If we can, we will show it using a projector. If not, a 24" monitor.

Thanks to everyone for their hard work and sacrifice and dedication to working on this Team CiAO project. It really shows in the end result. We will also discuss additional presentation events so that more people can see the film. (friends and family of the actors and crew, and other CiAO members) We also might have an "Online Premiere". And we will decide what other festivals and competitions we can enter the film into before it goes permanently online.

Principle photography for The Chosen was completed on Sunday, September 19 and post-production was completed on Saturday, September 25. We sent the film second-day International FedEx on Monday the 27th, and it arrived before the deadline on Wednesday the 29th. So we are now officially entered into the UK 2 Days Later Short Film Competition.

Everyone worked really hard on the film, sticking to the "48-hour" schedule, and the result is pretty good, if we do say so ourselves. Altogether there were 26 people involved in the film, some performing as both cast and crew. There was quite a bit of luck involved as the rainy weather over the weekend cooperated with our schedule and allowed us to complete the film with little to no weather-delay. And a nod of Special Thanks to all of the people who contributed props and services and other items that add the special touches that help make a film better.

Below are the credits that are listed in the film:
(we forgot Ken Dahl in the Special Thanks section – sorry about that – and thanks – pardon us if we missed anyone else in any way, shape, or form)
